SUMER FUN SUN RUN!

This summer was one of the best summers our family has had!  That's because it was our first family vacation and our own personal love vacation. The excitement started with Johnny's graduation from kindergarten and receiving awards for being a good student. This year he past the G&T test (gifted & talented).  We are so proud of him!  We pray God gives him the wisdom he needs to succeed in life. 

Ok ok ok, so let the fun begin!  For our family vacation we went to Sesame Place and The Crayola Experience in Pennsylvania and besides the crazy ride we had on our way to the Crayola Experience we had an amazing time.  It was the first of many bonding family time that the kids and us will remember for ever. After we came back from PA we celebrated (more like cut a cake and take a few pics) our little Andrew's 3rd year :)  Nevertheless we know he enjoyed the weekend getaway :) 

Two weeks later Jasmin and I went on our vacation to Cancun Riviera Maya.  We stood at the Now Sapphire Riviera Maya Resort & Spa.  It was just what we needed and what the doctor prescribed Jasmin almost two years ago, lol.... RELAX!  The weather was perfect, the atmosphere was awesome, the hotel was beautiful, great entertainment.  Overall a great time.

We cant thank God enough for all the blessings and for allowing us to be able to enjoy these moments.  September is back :-/ John is back to school and he will also start swimming lessons along with Jasmin :) the holidays are close and I love it. HEY YALL

More than a year without posting, gosh we get so lazy with our spot :( . Many things have changed since the last time we posted. We paid a whole chunk of debt and still fighting to finish it completely, our kids are growing and learning like crazy…just to tell you that John just graduated from Kindergarten last week :( … you can see the video slideshow we created of his graduation. Andrew is about to turn 3 in a few weeks :( OMG! and we will be celebrating his birthday weekend in our first family vacation…well mini vacation :) We are going to Sesame Place and the Crayola Factory up in PA :) so that should be fun. We are also taking a love vacation, yup! LOVE BABY! We going to RIVIERA MAYA, MEXICO!!! hehe…OK going back, Jasmin had foot surgery and since then her photography has been on a hold, she has been concentrating on her promotion side of the business and catching up on a lot of pending work….so stay tuned for her full blown promotion and marketing. I have lost 25 pounds and still working on some more. We are still in Jasmin mom's place..again, to pay completely our debt and hopefully move to Long Island (My dream).  Well that's it for now, we promise to keep this spot up to date….uhmmmm hopefully..so yea! New Chapter!

Hi dear friends, family, and whoever else is reading this blog. AGAIN, long time without showing some love to our blog spot but here we go. Hope you like the new look, we had to add little Andrew to the picture

Well, after 4 years living in Inwood Manhattan we have decided to move back to our old neighborhood (oh dear how much we miss it). We moved to Jasmin’s mom’s apartment which had two vacant and spacious bedrooms that was perfect for us. The purpose of all this madness is to save money, get rid of our huge debt and hopefully own some type of property. We are following the method of our dear friends The Marquez’s. So far it hasn’t been that bad. We have an extra hour of sleep and we no longer have a long and uncomfortable morning and afternoon commute.  We get home really early and our evenings feel much longer now.  The recording studio is walking distance and now we can come out on dates any weekends we want (well after 9 PM) hehehe. Privacy is till a small issue but nothing beats paying a big chunk of money on rent. 

Jasmin’s photography is going really good, finally she will be able to save all her photography and design income to invest in her business. By the way look at her work and book her for any memorable events you want captured.

So yea, our not so little any more first-born John is graduating from Pre- K, OHMGEE how emotional this is, he will be starting the big K (kindergarden) in September. Andrewzzy is turning two in July which reminds us that we need to get started arranging his birthday party. The good thing about Andrew is that he doesn't look like a 2 year old, he still a tiny little short chunks :) . Sooo, this is it for now, summer is around the corner and we should be posting some fun pictures and of course Andrews birthday party pictures…. oh wait! did we mentioned that riosquad first music video is out? oh oh…well, here is the link. John in PRE-K???

Hey yall, long time without blogging...we still need to update the spot and add our little Andrew to the site but here is the latest news with the Mujicas. My not so little any more son John Kharloz is starting school this upcoming 8th of September and the funny thing is that we just got the big news two days ago not giving us time to digest it. We have been trying to enroll him in school since the spring but they declined his application in the first round so we decided to add him again for the second round but putting priority to the school Jasmin and I went (PS 192). I am personally not too thrilled of him going to school, not because i don't want him to learn but because i don't want to realize the fact he is growing up. He has been asking to go to school for over a year now, therefore i know he is completely ready to start. I am not. The other afternoon at work, i realized why my mom was always so worry and used to tell me every morning to be careful when i was on my way to school. I always knew what i was doing, even though i took wrong actions in High School but i still knew how to handle myself, now i know what it is to feel what my mom felt. I know this will benefit him, even though he is so advanced for his age i know meeting new kids and interacting with them will do him good. I guess my biggest fear is getting THAT call....that call to inform me he fell, he got hit, he got into an accident, he got cut, they stole something from him or something of that sort.....but i know God will protect him. On the other hand, It feels good to know he will attend the same school Jasmin and I did especially because he will go to the section of the school i always wanted to go but since i came for 2nd grade i never had the chance to LOL.

The biggest advantage of all this is that in case of an emergency my dad and mother in law are a few blocks away from the school. This is funny because i am acting like my parents did, but at that time i thought it was annoying because i was requesting all this independence but i didn't know it was the nature of being a parent. I guess i have to just accept it...at least i will be getting the cute little cards for the holidays and the cute little drawings that will end up in the refrigerator. I will have the opportunity to get school supplies, go shopping, get new kicks for him :) (i know, i know, that's me) Time flies, that's all i can say. Thank you God because this makes me love you even more....whats next, prom? NOPE! thank you, i can wait :)

We're Back!!!

Well, it has been a pretty long time since we've updated this, but we are back with a lot of great news for all of you. Let's start with our baby (Andrew) who is not so baby anymore :-/...  today he is 9 months and refuses to sit down by himself or even crawl.  He has two cute teeth and loves to eat a lot, we call him our chunky monkey, jejeje.  


John, he is a super active preschooler who loves to play and will never take a breather, lol.  He will start pre-K this September even though Carlos is not ready to accept this change but we know John will love the interaction with other kids his age. 


Carlos and our compadre Denny (rioSQUAD), just released their first Christian rap album by the name of LA REVELAZION which has been a huge blessing to everyone that has had the chance to listen to it.  rioSQUAD is
expanding worldwide and will be on tour in Panama this upcoming October.


Me... I just launched my business in Design & Photography, which is already receiving so much positive feedback.  I thank God and Mary so much for this opportunity.  In just 4 days I have had a good amount of likes on my facebook page and I'm already getting booked for photo sessions and designing projects.

Andrew Leví is Here!!!

Our second blessing was born Thursday, July 29, 2010 @ 6:22am weighing 7lbs 2oz and 20in long.  This labor was shorter than the first one but definitely different... epidural vs. natural, lol... 12hrs vs. 4hrs... calm vs desperation, jajajaja... nevertheless I'm glad I've got to experience both.  Each one had its pros and cons.  Maybe for the third one I'll have a birthing plan, lol.

I can't believe I'm already a mother of two.  The more I look at him the more I'm amazed at how great God is.  From conceiving to labor & delivery.  His steps in creation are just perfect.  Lord thank you for giving us the responsibility and trusting us to take care of these beautiful gifts for you.  We promise to give them all the love they need, show them your path, and do our best to raise servers for you Almighty.  John & Andrew future servers of the Lord :-)
